Mr. Uwin Ariyarathna, from the Department of Business Finance within the Faculty of Management, has achieved a significant milestone alongside his team. Collaborating with Dr. Nadisha Piyarathne from the Faculty of Dental Sciences, Dr. Upul Jayasinghe from the Faculty of Engineering, Dr. Sinnarajah Krishnapradeep from the Faculty of Medicine, and Dr. Hakim Usoof from the Faculty of Science, they have secured a noteworthy URC Multidisciplinary Grant totaling LKR 2.5 million. Their project, titled "Effective AI-Based Distribution Management System for Hospitals in Sri Lanka," promises innovative solutions in healthcare logistics. It is worth noting that Mr. Ariyarathna, distinguished as the youngest Principal Investigator among the awardees.
Moreover, Mr. Ariyarathna serves as a co-investigator on another compelling initiative. He is part of the Multidisciplinary Research Grant, contributing to the project titled "Predictive Models in Finance Using Topological Data Analysis with Machine Learning." This grant amounts to LKR 1.5 million.
