The Department of Management Studies arranged a field visit to Hotel Kandalama and Maia Cheese (Pvt) Ltd on December 6, 2023 for students specializing in Organizational Management. Enthusiastic 2000 and 3000 level students, accompanied by academic staff from the department, participated in the visit.
The primary objective of the field visit was to enhance students' understanding of knowledge management, cross-cultural management, entrepreneurship, and sustainability within a real-world context. During the visit, students had the opportunity to interact with organizational members and receive expert advice aimed at shaping their mindset and aiding in career planning. Additionally, this visit offered an opportunity for the department to cultivate further diverse industrial relations.
