The Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) successfully organized a workshop on the 'Role of Young Academics and Career Advancement' on the 16^th of August from 1:00 p.m. onwards at the Innovation Co-creation Cell, Faculty of Management. The target group for the workshop was temporary lecturers, probationary lecturers, and any confirmed lecturers who were interested. The resource person for the session was Dr. Senal Weerasooriya, Senior Lecturer at the Department of Agricultural Economics and Business Management, Faculty of Agriculture, University of Peradeniya. Dr. Weerasooriya's expertise and insights provided invaluable guidance to our participants, particularly in understanding the diverse roles of young academics and the importance of pursuing higher studies abroad. The workshop was coordinated by Mr. Praveen Abeysundera on behalf of the IQAC.
