The Department of Marketing Management, Faculty of Management, University of Peradeniya, successfully organized a guest lecture titled “Skills on Music” as part of the MKT 2201: Skills Development & Fine Arts course conducted for 2000-level Marketing undergraduates. This session, held on 10th November 2025, provided students with an enriching exploration of musical expression, communication through music, teamwork in group performances, emotional connection, and confidenc,e highlighting their significance in delivering, engaging, and expressive musical performances. The session was conducted by Dr. Manoj Alawathukotuwa (Senior Lecturer), Ms. S. M. Dinendri Niroshani Senevirathne (Senior Lecturer – Grade II), and Mr. Y. M. I. I. Bandara from the Department of Fine Arts, University of Peradeniya. Their valuable insights and expertise greatly contributed to enhancing the students’ understanding of the role of music in personal and professional development.
