The field of human resource management has been subject to radical transformation from merely undertaking the operational role to playing a more integrated strategic role to add value to diverse stakeholders. In this context, human resource professionals are also expected to transform themselves in designing and implementing human resource practices to add value to the organization. Department of human resource management offers courses to cater the needs of undergraduates who follow the BBA, B.Com, B.A. and B.Sc. (Computation & Management) degree programmes. In addition, the department also offers a specialization path for undergraduates through BBA (HRM) to provide in-depth expertise in the field of HRM. The department has given prominence to not only academic performance but to enhance the soft skills of the undergraduates as well. For this purpose, the department has arranged seasonal internships, workshops, and mock interviews in the recent past. The department strives to produce graduates who are competent in undertaking both generalist and specialist roles in a variety of organizational settings.
