Securities and Exchange Commission of Sri Lanka in collaboration with the Colombo Stock Exchange
organizes an inter university quiz competition “VARSITY BATTLES” with the intention of creating an
awareness among the undergraduates of the state universities on the capital market.
The competition is expected to be carried out in two stages: the first stage consists of an Inter Faculty
Competition where each faculty can nominate one to three teams. The top three teams with the
highest scores will be selected to compete in the stage two competition which is the National Level
Competition.
Inter Faculty Competition at the University of Peradeniya will be organized by the Department of
Business Finance, Faculty of Management. The Competition will be held on 21 st June 2023 from 9.00
a.m. onwards at the Auditorium of the Faculty of Management. Maximum of 3 teams (4 students in
each team) from your faculty to take part in this competition. The nominated teams can provide their
information in the Google sheet provided below.
