An awareness session on the AHRP undergraduate capability development program was held on
14 th September 2022 at the Faculty of Management, University of Peradeniya. The session was
conducted by Mr. Roshan Kulasuriya, President, AHRP and Director, HR and Business
Integration at Singer Sri Lanka, and Dr. Chandana Wijayanama, Executive Vice President,
AHRP and Organization and HR Director, Siam City Cement Ltd. This programme is designed
to provide mentoring support to undergraduates that aspire to pursue a career in HR. Moreover,
this program will enable the undergraduates to gain an understanding of their strengths, build
confidence, enhance skills, and map their development journey. According to the program, one-
on-one mentoring sessions will be conducted for 300-level HRM undergraduates for 08 months
with industry professionals.
