Students pursuing the course “MGT 1101- Business Environment” offered by the Department of Management Studies in the Faculty of Management have set “Business Fair 2023” focused on three magic seeds: passion, customers and profit as a partial course requirement. It was also decided to donate the proceeds from the event to charity.
To gain hands-on experience of running a small business, students set up stalls of hand-made food, sweets, snacks and handicrafts at the "Business Fair 2023". In an effort to attract more customers for the various stalls, the event was held at the WUS premises on 26th and 27th of October, as well as on 2nd and 3rd of November 2023, from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm. With the help of other students and department staff, the students successfully carried out the “Business Fair 2023”.
