The 1000 level undergraduate students of 2021/22 in collaboration with the Department of Management Studies, organized “Detox – 2023” on 20th November 2023 in the Faculty Auditorium at 3 pm -5 pm. The event also served as the partial fulfilment of MGS 1201- Fundamentals of Social Sciences.
Two resource persons from Police Narcotic Bureau, Mr. N.M. Lakshman Edirimanna, Inspector of Police; Mr. V. Vijayaraj, Police Sergeant, were invited to facilitate the program. Students and academic staff attended the event, during which students engaged in a signature campaign promoting the theme "say no to drugs." The occasion has significantly contributed to moulding graduates with a strong sense of social responsibility and fostering civic engagement.
