The 1000 level undergraduate students of 2021/22 in collaboration with Department of Management Studies, organized “Eduflare – 2023” on 11th December 2023 in the Art Theater from 3pm to 5pm. The event also served as the partial fulfillment of MGS 1201- Fundamentals of Social Sciences. Dr Sardha Hemapriya, Obstetrician and Gynecologist in Kandy National Hospital was invited as the resource person to facilitate the program regarding sex education, unwanted pregnancies and Sexually Transmitted Diseases (STD). Students and academic staff attended the event, during which students engaged in performing a drama based on sex education. Following which Questions and Answers session also took place, where participants clarified their questions from resource person. This was an enlightening program on comprehensive education, where knowledge becomes the key to health choices and empowered lives.
