The Department of Operations Management, Faculty of Management, University of Peradeniya
organized a guest lecture for the final year students of the B.Sc. Honours in Computation &
Management degree programme offered by the Faculty of Science, University of Peradeniya.
The resource person was Mr. Rajiv Weragama who is a Senior Engineer in Service Assurance
and Fulfillment at Sri Lanka Telecom PLC. The main purpose of this guest lecture was to
introduce Telecommunication, Internet, and Wireless technologies, and explain their evolution
and application to day-to-day business activities.
The guest lecture was held on the 7 th of October 2022 at 10.00 a.m. at the faculty premises.
