A training programme on “Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) for Operations Management” was held at the auditorium of the Faculty of Management on 28th September 2020, under the patronage of Professor Athula Ekanayake, Dean of the Faculty of Management. The programme was organized under the AHEAD grant of Department of Operations Management, Faculty of Management, University of Peradeniya. The main purpose of the training programme was to give a practical exposure on ERP for the staff members of the Department of Operations Management and for the students who are specializing in Operations Management. Mr. Priyantha Palapathwala, Managing director of MEASA Engineering Services Pvt Limited was the resource person for the training programme. This workshop helped the participants to develop their level of understanding on ERP and during the programme the participants were given a variety of group activities to improve their skills on ERP.
