The Centre for Skills for Life, Faculty of Management, University of Peradeniya held the Felicitation Ceremony of the Industry Mentorship Program 2023 on 28th of July 2023 from 10.00 a.m. to 12.30 p.m. at the Faculty Auditorium. The event was graced by Ms. Sweena Chang, former General Manager – Legal, Aitken Spence PLC as the guest speaker. The event felicitated 118 undergraduates of 3000 Level who successfully completed the Industry Mentorship Program and recognized the voluntary efforts of 55 industry mentors who guided them throughout the period of the mentorship.
The aim of the mentorship program is to provide the udergraduates with the opportunity to identify and develop their career prospects, create networks and explore their innate talents under the mentorship of an experienced mentor from a field of their choice. We are grateful for the industry mentors who guided and groomed our undergraduates, Ms. Sweena Chang and everyone who assisted in making this program and the felicitation ceremony successful.
