Industry Field Visit to Highland Milk Factory – Ambewela

The Department of Operations Management successfully organized a field visit to the Highland Milk Factory in Ambewela on the 1st of August 2024 for second-year students specializing in Operations Management, as part of the OPM 2102 – Supply Chain Management course.
The visit was designed to offer students valuable insights into the supply chain operations within the local milk industry, as well as the manufacturing processes involved in producing milk powder, butter, and ghee at the Highland Milk Factory in Ambewela.
The Department extends its heartfelt gratitude to Milco (Pvt) Ltd for providing this invaluable opportunity for our undergraduates to observe and experience real-world operations.
