The Department of Operations Management, Faculty of Management, University of Peradeniya
organized a Study Tour to Kothmale Food Products (PVT) Ltd and Kothmale Reservoir on the
3rd of May 2023 for the 3000 level students taking Entrepreneurship as part of the B.Com. degree
program.
The objectives of this Study Tour were to observe the entire process of production in Kothmale
Food Products (Pvt) Ltd., listen to a lecture on “Entrepreneurship Practice and Experience”
delivered by the Chairman of the Kothmale Food Products (Pvt) Ltd., and interact with the
Chairman and the high-ranking managers in a discussion session and learn about Kothmale
Reservoir operations.
