About Us

The faculty of Management started its Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) in its 07th Faculty Board held on September 28, 2015. IQAC was established with the purpose of coordinating the quality assurance activities of the faculty with respect to teaching, learning, assessment and innovations. The faculty obtained an 'A' Grade for the external review conducted in 2018 by the UGC.

Responsibilities of the IQAC

• Consider and report on any matter referred by the Management Committee of the Centre for Quality Assurance (CQA).


• Promote quality enhancement activities within the Faculty.


• Liaise with the CQA of the University in facilitating the conduct of / arrangement for external reviews.


• Guide and facilitate internal and external review processes of the faculty.


• Facilitate implementation of follow-up actions recommended in Institutional/Program/Subject review reports and monitor progress in their implementation.


• Liaise with Faculty QA Cells in other Faculties/Institutes with the University, to share good practices and enhance the quality of higher education in Sri Lanka.


• Facilitate and enhance all pertinent internal quality assurance measures as relevant.


• Assist the CQA to reach its university level goals.
