The Faculty Seminar for the month of May 2020 was held on May 27, 2020 at the Faculty Computer Lab. The resource persons were Dr. R. H. Kuruppuge and Mr. A.M.A.S.M. Bandara from the Department of Operations Management, Faculty of Management. This seminar was conducted on the title, “Strengthening the delivery of courses through Online”. The event was graced by the Dean of the faculty and the academic staff members. Dr. R. H. Kuruppuge and Mr. A.M.A.S.M. Bandara conducted the seminar on the following e-lecture delivery mechanisms:
‣ Dr. R. H. Kuruppuge, as the G-Suite Faculty representative, introduced the G-Suite and its benefits for e-learning and teaching online, such as the Google Classroom, Google Calendar etc. which is an ideal alternative to technical problems of the Moodle.
‣ Mr. A.M.A.S.M. Bandara elaborated comprehensively on a choice of software that has been identified by him to deliver lectures online on a user-friendly and interactive basis to students and teaching staff.
