The Information Technology Unit comes under the purview of a Coordinator appointed from the Department of Business Information Technology. The Coordinator is responsible for promoting, organizing, developing and coordinating education programs in the field of Business Information Technology. The Unit is primarily responsible for the BIT education for undergraduate and postgraduate programs. In addition, the Unit will offer Certificate and Diploma courses through the Center for Distance and Continuing Education (CDCE), University of Peradeniya.
