The Faculty of Management, University of Peradeniya organized a highly informative awareness session on the “Benefits of ETF, EPF & Gratuity Acts, and Social Protection Scheme” for the staff members on January 9, 2024, in the Faculty Auditorium.
Dr. A.J.M.S. Jayasundara, Deputy General Manager (Collection and Employer Relations), Employees' Trust Fund Board, Mehewara Piyasa, Narahenpita, graced the occasion as the distinguished speaker. His wealth of knowledge and experience provided valuable insights into the intricacies of ETF, EPF, Gratuity Acts, and the broader Social Protection Scheme. The session covered key aspects of these schemes, ensuring that attendees gained a holistic understanding of the employee welfare landscape. Also, the participants had the opportunity to engage in meaningful discussions, seeking clarification on various aspects of the schemes.
