The paper was reviewed by Mr. A.M.A.S.M. Bandara from the Department of Operations Management. The event was graced by the Dean of the Faculty, Heads of the Departments and the Academic Staff members. The brief abstract of the paper is given as follows.
This study evaluates the impact of e-learning readiness on student satisfaction based on the State Universities in Sri Lanka. The authors used five dimensions to measure e-learning readiness; self-competence, self-directed learning, motivation toward e-learning, financial ability and perceived usefulness. For that, a quantitative study has conducted for a sample of 317 undergraduates who study Management Degree programs in Sri Lankan State Universities. They were selected randomly and a structured questionnaire was distributed among them. According to the study's findings, three main e-learning readiness dimensions namely, self-competence, motivation for e-learning and financial ability, have a significant impact on student satisfaction in State Universities. These findings are consistent with previous studies and emphasize the need to create a collaborative learning environment for students to learn and flourish in e-learning.
